Welcome, all of our great friends, to the Kindness for Kids in War Zones official website. We are so happy that you have heard about us and want to help us further our cause.
Thousands of care packages are sent to both Iraq and Afghanistan each year. Unfortunately many of these donations never make it into the hands of those in need. The Army is grateful for these care packages but they must monitor them as the military does with everything. Since there is no direct recipient, packages get put in a giant warehouse accessible upon request with the proper paper work, access, and positive intent. Therefore a soldier who wanted access to the care packages would have to fill out paperwork, (if he even had access to the warehouse), and then show logical proof on how he intended to distribute these care packages. We eliminate this process by shipping directly to specific volunteer soldiers who have agreed to and want to help further our cause.
OUR MISSION IS THIS: We will find honest, trustworthy soldiers, who will be organized to help spread the kindness that we are so lucky to have, out to those who may not have the resources or capabilities to provide these things for themselves. The children of war are PRISONERS. They have no effect on the outcome of things but everyday they suffer because of the decisions some of their elders have made. We strive to ease the pain of these poor children in any way that we can. Our volunteer soldiers go out amongst the people and talk to them, they inquire about what needs the children of that specific area have. Remember, not every place is the same, some may have water but no food, others food but no water, our volunteer soldiers will find out what the children need and relay the information back to us so we can get to work to help these poor children.
